We are seeking individuals who can empower our customers' efficiency, profitability, and success through our award-winning Next-Gen Email Security & Backup solutions.

As a member of the Hornet team, your primary role will be to sell our products to Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and Internal IT customers. You will be responsible for acquiring and managing a base while playing a crucial role in driving the Company's success in achieving customer acquisition and revenue goals.

This is a full-time position that we are looking to fill immediately. Based out of our office in Chevy Chase, MD!

Your job

  • You diligently follow up on assigned leads, engage in business-oriented discussions with prospects to showcase the benefits of our solutions, and respond promptly and reliably to customer inquiries, delivering relevant information and tailored offers.
  • You maintain consistent communication with prospects via phone and email, performing daily calls and emails.
  • You monitor and manage the sales pipeline, updating and maintaining applicable information systems along the way.
  • You conduct high-level product demonstrations, effectively addressing client inquiries.
  • You create quarterly plans for meeting or exceeding business objectives for assigned region and report on it weekly.
  • You develop and implement sales strategies in assigned regions.
  • You investigate and resolve assigned client complaints on behalf of sales management.
  • You conduct quality control audits of assigned client accounts to ensure high ROI of purchased products and make recommendations for use of current products or purchasing different products as needed.
  • You regularly participate in tradeshows, fairs and visiting potential clients offsite.
  • You continuously learn and maintain in-depth product and industry knowledge.
  • You make a significant and reliable contribution to sales growth, consistently achieving or surpassing agreed sales targets.

Your profile

  • You have 2+ years of inside sales experience within the IT industry, demonstrating a successful track record.
  • Experience in selling to Managed Service Providers (MSPs) or Internal IT customers is a plus.
  • Technical knowledge or experience in software sales is preferred but not required.
  • You have proven ability to build relationships at all levels of an organization over the phone with persuasive phone etiquette, exhibiting high energy and enthusiasm to foster long-lasting customer relationships.
  • You have demonstrated negotiation skills to successfully close sales opportunities, with a deep understanding of the prospective customer’s buying process.
  • You have exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, fostering teamwork.
  • You are familiar with CRM applications, such as Salesforce, for effective lead, opportunity, and account management.
  • You are driven and ambitious, passionate about sales to earn significant sales commissions.
