Support for a new feature “Auto Configuration” has been introduced.
This feature, available in the local console, allows users to set up default backup configuration criteria which will automatically be assigned whenever a new Virtual Machine has been discovered.
Users can configure all backup options such as: backup locations (onsite and offsite), schedules, retention, advanced settings and CDP.
Virtual Machines can be excluded from the configuration using an inbuilt exclusion mechanism.
Users can then change the configuration of any Virtual Machine which was automatically configured, but can ensure that a level of protection is automatically applied, especially in highly dynamic VM environments.
Improvements
An authentication error no longer appears when logging into the Local Console after switching users.
