365 Total Backup – Four-Eye Approval
A four-eye approval process has been introduced to 365 Total Backup:
- Four-eye approval represents an additional layer of security that mitigates risks of losing data due to actions of rogue and novice administrators.
- It is disabled by default and can be enabled during or after onboarding a tenant.
- Four-eye approval requires at least two administrators to be assigned as approvers.
- The feature allows only assigned administrators to approve or rejects requests for sensitive operations such as:
- Disabling users, groups and sites from backup
- Deleting backup data for users, groups and sites
- Organization deletion
- Changes to retention policy settings
- Changes to Four-Eye approval settings
