Intro

Reporting to the Automation team leader, you are involved in data engineering projects. The team creates tools to enhance efficiency in our processes and make the organization more scalable and manages the data generated by our technology: structure, storage, access and security.

We are searching for a Data Engineer (m/f/d) to join us as soon as possible for 40 hours peer week in our office in Hanover.

Your Job

• You participate to the different steps of developing services
  • Analyze needs and design,
  • Development,
  • Training,
  • Maintenance,
  • Documentation.
• You improve overall scalability of our internal tools
• You are an advisor in setting up tools to automate processes
• You work with different teams to gather data and build automated processes
• You work on projects, such as:
  • Define and implement data schema and data transformers
  • Define and implement ETL pipelines
  • Define clustering methodologies

Your Profile

• You are passionate about software development and think that software’s can help organizations to be more efficient
• You already worked on data streaming platform (Kafka, Spark, etc.)
• You have experience with programming language: Python, Go
• You already used Git, Docker
• You have experience on SQL and can spot how to improve performance of a request
• You already setup data analytics platform and worked in collaboration with data analysts

Must have:

• You have 2 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer
• You have deep experience with SQL
• You already gained knowledge of event streaming principles and architecture
• You are comfortable working on REST or gRPC APIs
• You are comfortable with CI/CD tools: Docker, Gitlab
• You have already managed at high scale databases for analytics
• Your English speaking and writing skills are excellent

Nice to have:

• You have experience working with NATS, Clickhouse, dbt
• You have experience working with Apache Airflow or equivalent
• You have good knowledge of distributed system architecture
