Intro

We are seeking a Junior Sales Assistant (40h/week) with a background in finance (preferably vocational training) to join our team in Madrid to start immediately or as soon as possible to provide administrative support to the sales department.

This role is ideal for someone at the start of their career, with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and good communication abilities reporting to the Sales Controller.

Your Job

  • Document Management: Handle all administrative documentation related to sales operations, ensuring it is complete and up to date.
  • PO Updates in the System: Input and maintain purchase orders (POs) in the system, verifying data accuracy. You’ll work in an international corporate environment.
  • Coordination with the Billing Department: Work closely with the billing team to verify proper documentation and ensure that billing processes are completed on time, serving as the interface between internal sales and accounting.
  • Client Relations (Partners and Distributors): Contact partners and distributors to request the necessary documentation for the sales and billing processes.
  • Collections Management: In certain cases, assist with tracking outstanding payments and coordinating collection activities.
  • Additional Administrative Support: Provide occasional administrative assistance to other departments as needed.
  • You will ensure professional communication with clients, both in Spanish and English.

Your Profile

  • You have completed studies in a business-related field.
  • You (ideally) have initial professional experience in a commercial environment.
  • You are known for your organized, solution-oriented work approach and quick comprehension.
  • You take initiative and prefer to complete tasks today rather than tomorrow.
  • You are communicative, enjoy challenges, and thrive in an international environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with other departments and external clients.
  • Proficiency in office tools, such as Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
  • Familiarity with management tools (ERP, CRMs like Salesforce) and BI reporting tool (Power BI, Tableau, QlikView) is a plus.
  • You have excellent command of Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
